Kantara Chapter 1 have released first image

The creators of the eagerly awaited movie “Kantara Chapter 1” have released the first image, which promises a powerful and heavenly cinematic experience. After ‘Kantara: A Legend’ became an enormous hit the previous year, Hombale Films is about to enthrall viewers once more with ‘Kantara Chapter 1’, their most recent film masterpiece.

The video gives viewers a peek into the world that actor-director Rishab Shetty has constructed for himself, showcasing his menacing yet alluring appearance. The trailer transports viewers inside Rishab Shetty’s character’s impassioned point of view, building a suspenseful and intriguing environment.

‘Kantara Chapter 1’ will be released in seven languages, thus the teaser ends with a unique touch: seven distinct ragas of music. Fans have been eager to learn more about Panjuluri Deva’s realm ever since Kantara debuted in September 2022. The teaser for Kantara The Legend: Chapter 1, which acts as a precursor to the first movie in the series, was released by Rishab Shetty on social media on Monday.

Rishab asks the audience at the beginning of the teaser whether they can see the “light” that allows them to look into the “past and the future.” He can be seen staring up at the moon before his character, Shiva, is unveiled in a completely different avatar. At least three distinct looks of Rishab were seen in Kantara, but the fan favorite is when he dons greasepaint to become Panjuluri Deva.

In the teaser, he has a completely different appearance, holding a trishool while sporting long hair and a toned body. It’s evident that Rishab immerses the spectator further into the narrative this time around, even though not much is known about the film’s plot. One of the title cards in the teaser glimpses that the movie would take place in 300 CE, reading, “During the reign of Kadambas.”

The Kadambas were a Karnataka royal family who lived from 345 to 540 CE, for those who are unaware. Northern Karnataka and the Konkan were under their dominion. According to one myth about their beginnings, Lord Shiva’s sweat produced the Trilochana Kadamba. In the film Kantara, Rishab played the twin roles of Shiva and his father, a Daiva Kola performer. He also directed the film.

Kantara Chapter 1 this movie depicts the coming-of-age tale of a man who, in order to purge the hamlet of evil, gets possessed by Guliga and Panjuluri devas. At the end of the movie, Shiva vanishes into the forest to meet the soul of his father, who had also vanished in a similar way. Later this month, prequel filming will begin, with the movie expected to be released in theaters in 2024.

The film’s soundtrack will be composed by B Ajaneesh Loknath, who also wrote the music for the original. Last year, “Kantara” swept the world’s film festival circuit, enthralling viewers with its folklore-based narrative that examined the complex relationship between humans and environment.

With ‘Kantara Chapter 1’, Hombale Films—known for its dedication to producing pan-Indian cinematic experiences—continues to redefine divinity. “Kantara Chapter 1” will be available in seven languages starting January 2019. It is planned for the filming to begin at the end of December. While the cast is still unknown, the film’s initial glimpse offers a glimpse into an other reality full with amazing stories.
