Today, November 27, 2023, is the last day to register for the January 2024 administration of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test, or CTET, according to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Owing to the overwhelming volume of applicants for the CTET Examination, the deadline for online applications has been extended to November 27, 2023, and the application cost can be paid until 11:59 p.m. on the same day. Candidates from the general and OBC-NCL categories must pay ₹1,000 for one paper and ₹1,200 for two in order to apply for the exam. Candidates who belong to SC, ST, or are disabled must pay ₹500 for one paper or ₹600 for two. On Sunday, January 21, 2024, the 18th CTET exam will be held in 135 cities nationwide. Twenty languages will be used for the test.
In due course, the CTET 2024 January exam admit card and exam city slips will be made available. Computer-based testing is used for CTET (CBT) or administered via CBT. Two shifts of 2.5 hours each will be available. 9:30 am to 12 pm is the first shift, and 2:30 pm to 5 pm is the second. 135 locations around the nation will administer this test on Sunday.
