Samsung all set for its most expensive foldable smartphone
Samsung is reportedly all set to launch its first triadic-folding smartphone, the Samsung Z TriFold. The device, priced at around Rs 2.64 lakh, could outsell some Royal Enfield motorcycles in terms of price. However, it will review the foldable smartphone request with its unique design and decoration, which would make it one of Samsung’s boldest inventions till date, if it is launched.
Samsung Z TriFold: Wider global rollout expected beyond Asia
Previous reports suggested that the Samsung Z TriFold would debut only in China and South Korea, but a new perception from SamMobile hints at a wider release. The device could soon arrive in the UAE and other international requests. While there is no confirmed evidence of a launch in India, Samsung’s increased focus on the decoration smartphone member in the country is raising the possibility.
New Form Factor Samsung’s First Trifold Design
The Samsung Z Trifold is expected to feature a 10-inch OLED inner display that can be folded inwards twice, providing a large-screen tablet experience when opened. Its 6.5-inch cover display will give the feel of a regular smartphone when folded. Samsung aims to combine portability and productivity, targeting power junkies who need both a compact phone and a full-screen workspace.
Flagship-Position Camera and Performance Power
Under the hood, the Z Trifold is likely to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 Elite for Galaxy, the same chip used in the Galaxy S20 Ultra. It could also boast a 200MP primary camera with ultrawide and blowup lenses for professional-grade photography. Reports indicate that the battery will be split into three sections to optimize power distribution during the complex folding process.
Price and launch time: Premium discovery is priced at a premium
Leaked information suggests that the Samsung Z TriFold could be priced at around $3,000 (₹), which is much higher than the price of Huawei’s Mate XT, which starts at ₹2.22 lakh. Originally listed for a September launch, it is now likely to launch later this month. However, Samsung is all set to unveil its most advanced and expensive foldable smartphone yet, which has pushed the boundaries of design and technology further, if true.
