Salman Khan breaks silence on Abhinav Kashyap’s rivalry
Finally, Salman Khan opened up about his long-standing feud with Dabangg director Abhinav Kashyap on the Weekend Ka Baar episode of Bigg Boss 19. The megastar revealed that he had earlier offered Abhinav a film script, which the director had rejected. Salman’s comments came after Abhinav made regular allegations against him and his family, including allegations of professional sabotage and special attacks.
Apne Bhai Ke Pichhe Padha – Salman reacts explosively
In a fiery yet emotional statement, Salman said, “If you want to follow someone, start with your own family.” The actor encouraged Abhinav to focus on rebuilding his life and taking care of his beloved bones instead of attacking others. Salman also added that he finds it unfortunate that the same kind of negativity has tarnished the image and underlying career growth of a talented filmmaker in Bollywood.
Salman and Abhinav Kashyap had a falling out after the release of Dabangg in 2010. Abhinav had accused Salman and his family of monitoring his creative work and obstructing his unborn child. In several interviews, the director had called Salman a “rogue”, saying that the megastar was “on bail”. His comments had reignited the debate over power dynamics and responsibility within Bollywood.
During a casual discussion with comedian Ravi Gupta on Bigg Boss 19, Salman indirectly supported Abhinav’s statement. He reflected that some people are more focused on pulling others down than doing good work. Salman had pointedly asked, “Family, do you have any work to do?” The light-hearted statement was easily targeted at Abhinav and drew strong reactions from both followers and guests.
Salman also explained that constantly criticizing others damages relationships. He expressed disappointment that Abhinav has dragged not only him but also Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan into his comments. “Those who criticize everyone around them isolate themselves,” Salman said, emphasizing the significance of positivity and mutual respect in the entertainment world.
More specifically, Salman advised Abhinav to take care of his parents, women and children and focus on meaningful connections. “Your family is upset with you. You are talented, but you need to get back on track,” he said. Salman insists that real strength comes from humility and inner balance, not from attacking others in public or spreading bitterness.
Concluding his speech, Salman told Bigg Boss followers that he is not as bent as a bone – God – a line that has garnered praise. The Tiger 3 actor is currently busy shooting for his upcoming big project, Battle of Galwan. Despite the ongoing difficulties, Salman Khan has been focusing on his upcoming releases and TV commitments, maintaining his position as one of Bollywood’s most influential stars.
