Redmi 13C and 13C 5G unveiled in India
The Redmi 13C and Redmi 13C 5G smartphones, the newest models in Redmi’s ‘C’ line of smartphones, were unveiled in India by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer. Starting at ₹7,999, the top-end edition of the new ‘C’ series smartphones costs ₹13,499 in price.
The 6.74-inch HD+ display on this phone has a refresh rate of 90 Hz, 600 x 720 pixel resolution, and a maximum brightness of 450 nits. To tackle demanding graphical tasks, the smartphone’s octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 CPU is teamed with a Mali-G57 MP2 GPU.
Up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, which can be increased to 1TB using the micro-SD card slot, and up to 8GB of RAM are included in this low-cost smartphone. Virtual Memory up to 8GB is also supported. With a 50MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and an additional 2MP lens, the Redmi 13C has a triple camera configuration for optics.
For users’ convenience, the smartphone also has a 5MP front-facing camera for taking selfies and making video calls. With the help of an 18W charger, the low-cost smartphone’s 5,000 mAh battery may be quickly charged. But the box only includes a 10W charger for the phone.
With a higher peak brightness of 600 nits, the 6.74-inch HD+ display on the Redmi 13C 5G is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. Furthermore, the somewhat less expensive variant can do graphics-intensive activities thanks to the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU and MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC.
There are three color possibilities for the Redmi 13C 5G: Startrail Black, Startrail Silver, and Startrail Green. The 4GB RAM/128GB storage variant costs ₹7,999, the 6GB RAM/128GB storage variant costs ₹8,999, while the 8GB RAM/256GB storage variant costs ₹10,499 of the Redmi 13C.
Furthermore, the pricing of the phone is ₹9,999 for the 4GB RAM/128GB storage variant, ₹11,499 for the 6GB RAM/128GB storage variant, and ₹13,499 for the 8GB RAM/256GB storage variant.
The smartphones are available for purchase on Amazon, Xiaomi Retail, and Mi.com, with an extra ₹1,000 off when using ICICI Bank credit cards.The Redmi 13C 5G will be accessible starting on December 16, while the Redmi 13C will go on sale on December 12 at 12 p.m.
