Redmi Note 13 series launch in India on January 4
The Redmi Note 13 series is gearing up for its launch in India on January 4 next year, as confirmed by the smartphone manufacturer on Thursday. These devices made their debut in China back in September. The lineup comprises three models: the Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and Redmi Note 13 Pro+.
While excitement mounts for the official unveiling, the series has made an appearance on e-commerce platforms such as Amazon.in and Flipkart through microsites. This confirms their online availability, although specific hardware specifications and pricing details are yet to be disclosed.
All the models in this series boast a 6.67-inch 1.5K full-HD+ AMOLED display and are equipped with a 16-megapixel front camera. The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC, while the Redmi Note 13 Pro operates on a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC.
Xiaomi India posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, stating, “When top-notch specs meet unparalleled sophistication, introducing #RedmiNote13 Pro+ 5G. The extraordinary #SuperNote, capable of handling everything, prepare for a revolution in luxury and innovation. Arriving on 4th January’24. Get Note-ified: http://bit.ly/_Note13ProPlus.”
On Amazon.in, the microsite hints at an “Amazon Special,” suggesting exclusive availability on the e-commerce platform and Mi.com/in. While the Flipkart microsite doesn’t explicitly mention exclusivity, reports indicate that the Note 13 phones will likely be offered on Flipkart as well.
Teasers hint that only the 5G versions of the Redmi Note 13 series will be introduced in India. In China, the Redmi Note 13 starts at CNY 1,199 (approximately Rs 13,900), the Redmi Note 13 Pro begins at CNY 1,499 (about Rs 17,400), and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ starts at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs 22,800).
It’s anticipated that the Indian variants will have similar pricing. Recent leaks have also unveiled the European pricing for the Note 13 Pro models. As per these leaks, the Redmi Note 13 Pro might be priced at EUR 450 (around Rs 40,700), while the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ could come with a price tag of EUR 500 (around Rs 45,000).
