Salman Khan Breaks Silence on Abhinav Kashyap Controversy

Salman Khan has finally addressed the long-running dispute with Dabangg director Abhinav Kashyap during Bigg Boss 19’s Weekend Ka Vaar episode. The superstar revealed that he had once offered Abhinav a film project, which the director declined. Salman’s remarks came after Abhinav’s repeated accusations against him and his family, including claims of professional sabotage and personal attacks.

In a fiery yet emotional statement, Salman Khan said, “If you want to go after someone, start with your own brother.” The actor urged Abhinav to focus on rebuilding his life and caring for his loved ones instead of attacking others. Salman added that he found it unfortunate that such negativity had destroyed a talented filmmaker’s image and potential career growth in Bollywood.

The feud between Salman Khan and Abhinav Kashyap began after Dabangg’s release in 2010. Abhinav accused Salman and his family of interfering with his creative work and blocking future opportunities. In several interviews, the director even branded Salman a “criminal,” saying the superstar was “out on bail.” His remarks reignited debates about power dynamics and accountability within Bollywood.

During a casual conversation with comedian Ravi Gupta on Bigg Boss 19, Salman indirectly referred to Abhinav’s statements. He remarked that some people focus on pulling others down rather than doing good work. Salman asked pointedly, “Did you get any work, brother?” The statement, though light-hearted in tone, was clearly aimed at Abhinav and drew loud reactions from both audience and guests.

Salman further explained that constantly speaking ill of others only harms one’s own professional relationships. He expressed disappointment that Abhinav had dragged not just him but also Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan into his comments. “People who criticize everyone around them end up isolating themselves,” Salman said, stressing the importance of positivity and mutual respect in the entertainment industry.

Taking a more personal tone, Salman advised Abhinav to care for his parents, wife, and children and focus on meaningful relationships. He said, “Your family worries about you. You are talented, but you need to return to the right path.” Salman emphasized that real strength comes from humility and emotional balance, not from attacking others in public or spreading bitterness.

Wrapping up his statement, Salman told the Bigg Boss audience that he bows down to no one except God — a line that earned applause. The Tiger 3 actor is currently busy shooting his next big project, Battle of Galwan. Despite ongoing controversies, Salman continues to focus on his upcoming releases and television commitments, maintaining his position as one of Bollywood’s most influential stars.
