Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said he would not be intimidated or forced to make decisions that would not be in India’s best interests. “I find it incomprehensible that Modi could be forced or intimidated into doing or choosing anything that would be detrimental to India and its people. Additionally, he emphasized that the strategy of Prime Minister Modi ensures close ties between Moscow and New Delhi.

“I cannot imagine that Modi can be intimidated, threatened, or forced to take any action or decision against the national interest of India and the Indian people,” the Russian President stated in a media interview. I know how much strain they are carrying. He continued, saying, “To be honest, sometimes I am surprised by his tough stance on protecting the national interests of the Indian people.”

He also said that he is seeing events unfold from the outside. I am aware of the pressure that exists. By the way, we never even discuss this between us. He was reported by the Russian President Vladimir Putin’s Office at the Forum as stating, “I just look at what is happening from the outside, and sometimes, to be honest, I’m even taken aback by his firm stance in upholding the Indian state’s national interests.”

He is, in fact, acting appropriately.” “If things go this way, if I were them, I would likewise take the same action. To be fair, they are profitable. Naturally, though, this is insufficient. We have a great deal more opportunities. India is ranked third and Russia is ranked fifth in the world’s economies according to purchasing power parity and economic volume, he continued.

“Remember that China, the US, India, Japan, and Russia are all involved. the three economies with the greatest purchasing power parity in the world. Naturally, it would be appropriate for us to expand trade with India if our current trade turnover with China is approaching 200 billion,” the Russian President Vladimir Putin added.

Vladimir Putin also said, according to the Russian President’s Office, that he will discuss the North-South Corridor with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and added that India is interested in implementing such routes. Vladimir Putin emphasized the need for the Northern Sea Route to be developed further, calling it a “very promising direction in the field of logistics.”

The necessity of expanding the financial system and utilizing more national currencies in mutual settlements was also emphasized by the president of Russia. He urged greater focus on investments and investment flows.

Additionally, the Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that “Prime Minister Modi’s policy is the main guarantee of this,” adding that relations between Russia and China are “continuously developing in all directions.” Russia applauded India’s G20 leadership last month during the country’s special virtual G20 meeting, citing its “extremely productive work” and the “good results” attained during the September summit in New Delhi.
